• Books (mostly used, via Amazon Books)
• Subscriptions to Online Reference (such as the Oxford English Dictionary)
• Items which are suitable for raffles or give-aways
• DataCenter Rackspace (even 1RU)
• Rackmount servers (intel or amd dual-core or higher)
• Hard disks (500GB SATA and larger)
• Mac Pro tower and MacBook Pro notebooks (intel)
• IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad notebooks (dual-core)
• Nexus-One Mobile Phone (aka the Google Phone)

We are always in need of people who can give their time and imagination to any of our projects. Don't worry too much about your experience and we certainly don't care about credentials. Please contact brad <brad@chenla.la> if you are interested.

We especially need:

• programmers (lisp, erlang, python, java, javascript)
• librarians (or anyone familiar with cataloging)
• researchers (both online, and those who have access to brick & mortar libraries)
• editors (for working with Wikipedia-like articles)
• scanners (to scan books and photos)
• proofreaders (it's not as boring as you might think)
• translators (we desperately Laos readers/speakers)
• content collection leads (for organizing and managing content collection projects)
