Communications Channels
The primary communication channels for Chenla are mailing lists and IRC channels. We expect to add Google Wave as an important collaborative tool when Wave has been opened to the public.
Mailing Lists
Chenla maintains three mailing lists hosted by Google Groups. Please click on a link below to join.
- Chenla News – Our monthly newsletter (one message per month).
- Chenla Talk – for general discussion (light traffic).
- Chenla Dev – for discussing standards, software & hardware development.
Live Chat (IRC)
Chenla has applied for a dedicated channel on freenode.net, but this is a long slow process and may take another couple months before our application has been processed.

Go to http://webchat.freenode.net. Fill in the screen with the information shown below. (Put your own nickname instead of your-nickname-here. Click the 'Connect' button.
You will be logged into chat. You can see the list of other people in the channel on the right side of your screen, and the conversation in the main window. To talk, type your message into the textbox at the bottom, and hit Enter to send.
